Reply:For getting their foot in the door - some people are just pulled off the street by a producer having a coffee and seeing someone he/she likes.. That choice very much depends on the personal tastes of the producer. The rest of em have to endure countless rejections in auditions untill they get their big break (which sometimes never comes)..





As for the rest of it - they have a literal army of stylists, PR specialists, personal trainers, writers and make up artists making sure this person come off in the best possible light.





Sooo my answer is no it is not talent alone. Hollywood is full of talented good looking waitresses and bartenders. Persistence and luck are equally important.

Ever noticed how people are naturally attracted to someone, or will automatically look because of the way someone carries themselves, or their confidence that simply oozes from them- not tenacity, just confidence. I think overall, if your lucky enough to get a break confidence and talent will ensure a real career- unlike paris hilton and other such pathetic things
Reply:It really depends on the roll, they might need a non attractive person who is a great person at heart and has a lot of talent.. they might need a gorgeous model who isn%26#039;t as important that doesn%26#039;t have the best talent.. most of the time you really do have to have good looks or a unique look, but you also have to have talent if you want to get into big serious hollywood movies, but then there%26#039;s Paris Hilton who is only famous because of her name and you never really see her being in huge hollywood movie.

Notice Bradd Pitt. former %26#039;worlds sexiest man%26#039; got incredible contracts, roles, payments around that time, now he%26#039;s only known as Angelina Jolie%26#039;s plaything. Sex is the biggest thing in Hollywood. The attraction an audience has to an actor will determine his or her future. Notice George Clooney. Wooden as board, he has only one approach, %26#039;angry man No.1%26#039; even when that snot what he%26#039;s doing, its still what turns up. And yet notice, he even got Worlds sexiest man awards and some juicy roles, even after proving his real talent in Batman and Robin. Hotness=sales=money. That is the simple fact of life in Hollywood.
